Artenga Microbubble Attributes
Upon completion of the generation cycle 2.5ml microbubble solution in a standard syringe is available. The surfactant-based gas microbubbles in carrier liquid have the following attributes:
- 2 micron mean bubble diameter
- Sharp size distribution peak - 99% under 2.5µm
- Larger size variants available (not as homogenous)
- Microbubble gas types:
octafluoropropane, perfluorobutane, decafluorobutane, other PFC variants, air, PFC and air mix, nitrogen, other types
- V1 cartridge concentration 1 * 108 microbubbles/ml
- V2 cartridge concentration (under development) 4 * 108 microbubbles/ml
- Homogeneous concentration - microbubble population evenly distributed throughout carrier liquid
- Terminally sterilized; solution biologically filtered; sterility testing of lots upon request
